Hint

All Aboard the Meme Express – Wednesday, April 15, 2009

April is National Poetry Month.
Are you participating in the challenge?

American syndicated advice columnist Ponce Kiah Marchelle Heloise Cruse Evans (better known as Heloise) was born on April 15, 1951. Heloise became popular by writing newspaper (The Honolulu Advertiser and King Features Syndicate) and magazine (Good Housekeeping) articles to offer helpful household how-to’s in her column, “Hints from Heloise.”

Today’s Meme Express prompt is simple: hint.

Here are a few optional questions to get you started:

Have you ever forgotten something important, so that someone had to give you a hint?

Would you like to give someone else a hint about something?

What subtle (or not so subtle) hints have you ever given to others?

Did they take the hints . . . or not?

What is the most helpful hint you have ever received?

Do you have any helpful hints to share?

(These hints may be practical, professional or personal.)

Perhaps this concept will inspire you to create a drawing, a poem, a short story, or a journal entry. Then return here to leave a comment with your link. (Be sure to include a link to the Meme Express. Grab our train graphic from the sidebar for your link, if you want.)

Of course, if this prompt seems to stump you, feel free to peruse the archives of the Meme Express and publish a blog post on an earlier prompt.
