Blog prompt: If you could travel back in time, would you?

What historical moments would you most like to witness? A friend posed this question, which set me back for a second.

If I had a time machine, I’d love to see these milestones in human history:

• The fall of Jericho
• The birth of Christ
• The Boston Tea Party
• The abolition of slavery
• The Wright brothers’ first flight
• The first votes for American women

I’d like to meet some intriguing folks from the past as well. How about these?

• Charles Dickens
• Christina Rossetti
• Emily Dickinson
• Mark Twain
• Michelangelo
• William Shakespeare

What historical figures would you like to meet?

Time travel would be fun, although I certainly appreciate modern-day comforts and conveniences. (Kids, be sure to go – before we leave!)
