Amazing & Amusing A-prompt for the A to Z Blogging Challenge

 A is for “Amadeus.”

Who remembers this 1984 biopic of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, directed by Milos Forman and starring Tom Hulce in the title role and F. Murray Abraham as Antonio Salieri? The film won eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Does this movie clip offer you any amazing, amusing or aesthetic ideas for your own blog post? Take a look, and see what concepts crop up!

Pick-a-Prompt - March 23rd

All Aboard the Meme Express – Tuesday, March 23, 2010

Welcome to the first Tuesday of spring!

Sure, everyone seems to be talking about health care - particularly in America - with Obama's health care program receiving nods from Capitol Hill. (See yesterday's post.)

As politicians and public opinion pundits debate the ramifications of the new health care programs in America, what is the healthiest thing you can do - particularly at this time of year?

The solution is quite down-to-earth! If allergies, colds or the flu turned you a little green to the gills during the winter, why not get out in that garden and dig in the soil a bit?

The weather is warming up. Grab those garden gloves and your favorite garden tools. It's time to clean out those perennial gardens and prepare the yard for spring planting!

Today the Meme Express offers you a choice: Pick-a-Prompt.

Scroll down the right-hand sidebar, and select any previous Meme Express writing prompt from the blog archives.

Or look through the Pick-a-Prompt labels list for a topic that interests you. Publish your blog post, and return here with a comment and link, so other Meme Express participants can find and read your post.

Post your poem, story, song, photo or other entry on your blog. (Be sure to include a link to the Meme Express. Grab our train graphic from the sidebar for your link, if you want.)

Pick-a-Prompt - March 16th

All Aboard the Meme Express – Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Spring has nearly sprung! Yesterday, I put our spring wreath on the front door. Hope springs eternal, right?

We will be grabbing those garden tools very soon to prepare those beds for planting. Watch for perennials to pop up. Crocus and hyacinth and daffodil and tulip shoots may show up soon. Before we know it, we will be buying potting soil and entire flats of annuals at local garden centers.

Time to spring into action. Today the Meme Express offers you a choice: Pick-a-Prompt.

Scroll down the right-hand sidebar, and select any previous Meme Express writing prompt from the blog archives. Or look through the Pick-a-Prompt labels list for a topic that interests you.
