Holiday Traditions - St. NIck

All Aboard the Meme Express – Saturday, December 6, 2008

In Wisconsin and much of the U.S. Upper Midwest, December 6th is St. Nick Day. According to holiday tradition, children hang their Christmas stockings expectantly. The following morning, these stretchy socks are filled with candies and other holiday treats.

The Meme Express prompt for today is twofold. Take your pick:

holiday tradition

or

St. Nick

Perhaps this concept will inspire you to create a drawing, a poem, a short story, or a journal entry. Then return here to leave a comment with your link. (Be sure to include a link to the Meme Express. Grab our train graphic from the sidebar for your link, if you want.)
