British rock guitarist, singer and songwriter George Harrison (The Beatles and The Traveling Wilburys) was born on February 24, 1943. For most of his life, George Harrison actually thought his birthday was February 25th. He was born shortly before midnight, so his birthday truly was February 24, 1943.
That would make former Beatle George Harrison 65 years old, if he were still alive.
Rolling Stone Magazine ranks George Harrison as #21 of the top 100 guitarists of all time.
