American comedienne and actress Lucille Ball was born on August 6, 1911. Lucille Ball may be best remembered as the star of the popular television show, I Love Lucy, in which she appeared as Lucy Ricardo, opposite her real-life husband, Desi Arnaz (Ricky Ricardo).
