Brr! The cold days of December are here (at least in half of the world!) It’s time for Saturday Stops at Meme Express. Each Saturday, we offer a weekend word or two for that day’s prompt.
The Meme Express prompt for today is:
frosty

ReplyDeleteTHE HANDSOME WOODSMAN!
I know I'm handsome/ For the girls all tell me so./ I'm the pin-up boy for miles around/ When my muscles are on show./ I'm very macho/ And that makes the ladies swoon,/ And they dream romantic dreams of me/ When they're underneath the moon./ They ask me to play Santa/ So I'll call on Xmas night/ But I'm a very moral chap/ I refuse to hold them tight./ Belle is my darling/ Yes, I know and know it well/ That she'll always be/ On my Xmas tree/ As my darling Xmas Bell./
Girls say I'm lovely,/ So I think it must be true./ I can see them swooning left and right/ When I wander into view./ I have such biceps/ That they bulge beneath my vest./ And my buttons sometimes come undone/ To reveal my hairy chest!/ It's not that I'm conceited/ I'm modest to a fault./ Why! Underneath the mistletoe/ I do not give girls a thought./ For Belle is my honey,/ I am underneath her spell,/ For she makes me sing/ A tingaling/ She's my lovely Xmas Bell./
