American R&B and soul singer and actress (The Blues Brothers) Aretha Franklin was born on March 25, 1942. Aretha Franklin has been called The Queen of Soul. Popular Aretha Franklin songs include "Baby I Love You," "Chain of Fools," "Day Dreaming," "I Say A Little Prayer," "Think" and "You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman."
Of course, Aretha Franklin’s best known song is probably “R.E.S.P.E.C.T.” Although this song was first released in 1965 by R&B singer Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin hit the top of the music charts with the single two years later.
