  2. Days of Sorrow - a Rhymed Motif of Angelic Grief
The clouds grew thick as moistest moss; The crowds, they gathered, at a loss. The hosts above, their song they lost, As Jesus laid upon the cross To willingly accept the cost.

  3. Raise Your Palms Up High
The Christian Palm Sunday celebration marks Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem (see Luke 19). Worshipers waved palm fronds as He passed. Christians still wave palms to worship the King of Kings, either with palm fronds or simply uplifted hands.

  4. An Easter Hunt (Easter Poem)
An Easter Poem - Easter has become a season to celebrate spring - with bunnies, chicks, candy and flowers. What is the real meaning of Resurrection Sunday? Which came first, Jesus or the Easter Bunny? Which comes first today?

  5. The Gospel Ladder
The Gospel Ladder is a helpful method of sharing the story of Jesus and the eternal salvation God offers through Him with folks of all ages. We have used this in Sunday school, Vacation Bible school, Backyard Bible Clubs and other settings.

  9. Salt is Significant
"Those folks are the salt of the earth." What does it mean? This common expression is derived from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount (see Matthew 5-7). To understand it, we must examine uses of salt in biblical times.
