All Aboard the Meme Express – Monday, November 3, 2008
John Montague, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, was born on this date in 1718. The British postmaster and naval leader has been known as the inventor of the sandwich. The Sandwich Islands (near Hawaii) were named in his honor.
If you can stand it, here is a zany video about the peanut butter and jelly sandwich:

Today’s Meme Express prompt is all about the sandwich.
Here are a few optional questions, to jump-start your inspirational engine:
What is your favorite sandwich?
Do you prefer a bagel, bread or bun?
How do you make the perfect sandwich?
Have you ever been to the Sandwich Islands?
What was your favorite school lunch?
What are you having for lunch today?
Perhaps this concept will inspire you to create a drawing, a poem, a short story, or a journal entry. Then return here to leave a comment with your link. (Be sure to include a link to the Meme Express. Grab our train graphic from the sidebar for your link, if you want.)
