Tombstone

All Aboard the Meme Express – Thursday, March 19, 2009

Happy birthday to the late Wyatt Earp, Wild West lawman and gunfighter.

American frontiersman and Illinois sheriff Wyatt Earp was born on March 19, 1848. Wyatt Earp served as an armed guard for the Wells Fargo Company and participated in the famous 1881 gunfight with outlaws at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, Arizona.

Today’s Meme Express prompt is:

tombstone

Here are a few optional questions to get you started:

Which is your favorite movie about Wyatt Earp and the gunfight at the OK Corral?

What is your favorite flavor of Tombstone Pizza – or your favorite pizza of all?

What would you write, if you could engrave your own tombstone in advance?

What do you think others might write about you on your tombstone?

Perhaps this concept will inspire you to create a drawing, a poem, a short story, or a journal entry. Then return here to leave a comment with your link. (Be sure to include a link to the Meme Express. Grab our train graphic from the sidebar for your link, if you want.)
