All Aboard the Meme Express – Thursday, July 10, 2008
American folk singer Arlo Guthrie (son of Woody Guthrie) was born on this date in 1947. Perhaps his most famous song is the 18-minute “Alice’s Restaurant,” from which these lyrics are taken:
“You can get anything you want at Alice’s Restaurant.”
Today’s Meme Express prompt is all about restaurants. What is your favorite restaurant? Why/ What’s the worst restaurant you’ve ever visited? Have you ever published a restaurant review? (Link to it; instructions follow, below.)
For example, here is one of my own restaurant reviews.
Or . . . What’s on the menu at your house tonight?
Use the image and/or quotation or not . . . it's your call. Give it your own flavor!
Post your poem, photo or other entry on your blog. Then come back here, and post a comment with a link to your own entry. (Need help making an active link? See Super-Simple Linking. Feel free to bookmark it for future reference!)
