Do you love baseball?
This 1984 film, the first cinematic release from TriStar Pictures, featured Robert Redford as baseball super-slugger Roy Hobbs in an adaptation of Bernard Malamud’s 1952 novel of the same name.
The dramatic cast included Kim Basinger, Glenn Close, Joe Don Baker, Barbara Hershey, Michael Madsen, and Wilford Brimley.
