Daring and Dynamic D-prompt for the A to Z Blogging Challenge

D is for “Dances with Wolves.”

This movie favorite, honored as Oscar’s Best Picture in 1991, featured director Kevin Costner in the title role as U.S. Army First Lieutenant John J. Dunbar, sent to serve in a remote outpost in the American frontier among the Lakota Indians.

The cast included Mary McDonnell, Graham Greene, Rodney A. Grant, Maury Chaykin, Tom Everett, Robert Pastorelli, and Wes Studi. The movie’s duration was over three hours.
